Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Description:
Our Aerospace & Defense client is seeking a SOFTWARE ENGINEER in Colorado Springs, CO - this is a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity, NOT a contract position.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for executing the tasks associated with the sustainment and development of test, training and simulation software/products. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to execute the team plans, milestones and schedules.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software.
• Apply appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle.
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• B.S. degree and 2 years of experience, or M.S. degree and 0 years of experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS Clearance highly preferred!)
• C++ software development
• Software lifecycle experience
• UNIX OS platform
  

These qualifications would be nice to have:

• Military Satellite Ground systems operations, development and maintenance)
• Ground software domain experience preferred
• ADA development
• Oracle Database (SQL)
• Agile methodology
• Active Top Secret Clearance

Pay: $75k-$100k (full benefits available)
