Job Summary
The job provides professional support and solves straightforward problems in chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising family care givers, providing patient education and counseling, and making referrals for other services.
Responsibilities
- Services include providing individual diagnostic interviews and goal-focused, evidence-based, time-limited psychotherapy. Treatments can include CBT, DBT, ACT and others.
- Full-time positions manage a caseload of up to 32 patients per week.
- Provide goal-focused, evidence-based, time-limited individual, couples, and group psychotherapy.
- Maintain timely and complete electronic documentation as appropriate.
- Exercise discretion and confidentiality while handling sensitive situations.
- Review, analyze, interpret, and/or prepare federal and state laws, rules, regulations, Code of Ethics, policies and procedures as related to clinical social work.
- Participate in clinical and administrative staff meetings as appropriate.
- Provide clinical supervision of trainees as needed and as appropriate.
- Family or group therapy may also be used if there is an interest by the candidate.
- Interprets, monitors, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
- Plans own resources to combat social problems or improve community health and counseling services.
- Analyzes potential problems in home environments of clients.
- Performs other related work as needed.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
