Job DescriptionSITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER
A leading software- and services-led enterprise provider in the financial, retail and hospitality industries is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA! This is a remote position, and candidates who are local to the Atlanta area will be prioritized as an onsite presence may be required post-COVID. Candidates must be able to work directly with TSG and/or TSG's client on a W-2 basis. We cannot accept candidates for this role that require sponsorship or training program support now or in the future (Examples of this would include: H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, TN Visas)**
QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience being hands on within a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) model
  
  • Running Docker containers
    
  • Spring Boot microservices
    
  • Operations/Systems background with some development experience
    
  • Experience working in a Linux environment
    
• Experience working with Cloud technologies (GCP preferred)
  
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred, Azure, AWS
    
• Experience working with Kubernetes
  
• Understanding of the full SDLC
  
• Great communication
  

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Python scripting for automation
  
• Able to lead/mentor other SREs
  
• ITIL experience/certification
  

DAY-TO-DAY

• Working on a team of around 20 people within the Digital Banking SW Engineering organization
  
• Helping aid in the migration from 2 data centers to Google Cloud Platform
  
• Hands- on as a Site Reliability Engineer, but focusing more on operations/systems
  
• Working in a Linux-based shop and using Python for automation
  
• Running Docker containers and developing Spring Boot microservices to help with the Cloud migration
