JOB SUMMARY

The Site Construction Manager manages Site Construction for the Capital Projects Group to include reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, budgets, schedules, bid package documentation, and EPC contacts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with Boral Safety Policies and Procedures
• Responsible for development and execution of a safety strategy focused on achieving Zero Harm Today
• Responsible for facilitation of project planning and management of capital projects including mechanical, electrical, process, quality, environmental, civil design and commissioning
• Reviews project proposals or plans to determine schedule, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, and allotment of available resources to design and construct industrial facilities
• Establishes work plan and multidisciplinary staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment or construction personnel to ensure proper assignment of duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
• Prepares interim and completion project budgets
• Commissioning of new plant operations
• Works with EHS departments to verify regulatory standards are defined and implemented throughout construction
• Manages all aspects of engineering and construction to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of a completed project
