This position is responsible for maintaining the CVD receiving area in a clean and organized manner. This position receives orders daily, generates blue sheets and assigns serialization to assure traceability through the CVD process. This position works closely with the CVD schedule and CVD personnel to stage orders in a manner that supports seamless product flow through the CVD department. This position also reviews AJAX and VOG ready lists to expedite product that is needed to support optimal reactor loading while maintaining customer OTD. The Shipping Coordinator - Incoming will work closely with the Shipping Coordinator to support other functions and will be required to act as the back-up to the Shipping Coordinator in CVD.

This position works closely with the CVD department, following direction from the Shipping Supervisor, to ensure that both internal and external customer requirements are met daily.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Process Daily Incoming Parts
    • Daily, the Coordinator will use SAP and other tools to produce blue sheets and serial numbers to register all incoming product. This position will work with the CVD Scheduler and CVD technicians to prioritize and stage daily work to adhere to deliver schedules, and will maintain the incoming area in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Inventory Control and Cycle Counts
    • Responsibility for inventory control of incoming parts to CVD by verifying parts received against SAP or Shopvue transactions.
    • As requested by Accounting, Cycle Counts will be performed. This will consist of reconsiling SAP inventory metrics with the CVD Inventory Database.
  • Documentation Control
    • Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the filing systems for product received in the CVD Department. The position will generate required documentation needed for certification of product.
  • Planning and Scheduling
    • This position will be trained to perform the requirements of Shipping Coordinator, CVD and will act as the back-up in their absence.

Your Profile:
  • Ability to use a computer and various software packages including, SAP, Shopvue, serial number database, CVD Inventory database, Access database, Microsoft Office (Excel) and Oracle Application Express (GSE) software.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask.
