Shipping Coordinator (2pm-12:30am)Position Summary

Shipping Coordinators are responsible for scheduling and overseeing of the loading and unloading processes of all materials and goods throughout the facility. Shipping Coordinators must thoroughly document and keep track of their work in a neat and organized manner while communicating delays, changes and other variables to the Inventory Supply Manager and Operation's Group. This position will require adequate analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot system errors while making critical decisions that could influence production.

Ways You Will Make a Difference:

  • Oversee loading and unloading of shipping vessels.
  • Execute various loading and shipping dock activities.
  • Communicate and coordinate dock times for inbound loads.
  • Communicate and coordinate delivery and storage of trailers for outbound deliveries.
  • Lead all loading and unloading operations though dock personal.
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
  • Close out and communicate shipment pickups to various transportation vendors.

Experiences That Will Support Your Success
  • Shipping or Logistics: 1 year (Preferred)
  • SAP (Warehouse Management) or similar software: 1 Year (Preferred)
  • Associate's Degree or Higher

Skills That Will Make You Successful?
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Create and manage multiple tracking reports to analyze and forecast incoming loads.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Detail oriented and have excellent planning and organizational skills
