As a Senior Workday Developer, you will work with CAI's internal Workday team on system enhancements and maintenance.
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Workday Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Workday Developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining our Workday HCM suite, with a focus on Extend Development, Report Writing, and Studio Integrations support and development. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere.

What You'll Do

  • Extend Development: Design and implement custom solutions using Workday Extend to meet the unique needs of our business
  • Report Writing: Create and maintain complex reports (advanced, composite and matrix) and dashboards within Workday to support business decision-making
  • Studio Integrations: Develop, test, and support integrations using Workday Studio to connect Workday with external systems and services
  • Support: Provide support for existing configurations and integrations, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes as needed, across all implemented Workday modules including Core HCM, Benefits, Time Tracking, Payroll, Compensation, Absence, and Finance
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and deliver solutions that align with business goals
  • Best Practices: Ensure best practices are followed in system design and development to maintain the integrity and security of the Workday ecosystem
  • Stay up-to-date with Workday updates and new features to recommend and implement process improvements
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers on the team, sharing knowledge and promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday consultant and development roles.
  • Solid understanding of Workday HCM & Finance
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and web service technologies (SOAP, WSDL, REST).
  • Proficient in Workday Studio integrations and other integration types: such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation
  • Proven experience with Workday Extend development, including UI development, PMD scripting, and Orchestrations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently in a fully remote environment

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
