Overview:

This position is responsible for developing, writing, and administering high quality training and development programs at all levels throughout the amusement park.

How You'll Make A Difference:

•  Implements training and development policies and programs, which may include company orientation, technical training, leadership development, safety training, train-the-trainer programs, or learning management.
•  Partners with line managers to identify skill/knowledge gaps and identify training needs.
•  Develops training courses, curriculum, or materials, and delivers and evaluates training sessions.
•  Selects training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the material being taught and the audience being targeted.
•  Coordinates guest trainers or subject matter experts (SMEs).
•  Documents employee attendance or performance at mandatory training sessions.
•  Develops and continuously improves training content and delivery methods including traditional methods and electronic delivery methods (computer or web-based training, eLearning, training videos, digital media, etc.)
•  Assesses training effectiveness and modifies programs to improve results.
•  Designs innovative, creative, and effective marketing to keep all employees connected, informed, and inspired about development opportunities. 
•  Ability to work out in the park if needed.

We're Looking For:

•   Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Communication, Education, Psychology or related field
•   4-6 years related experience
•   Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
•   Experience in developing high impact training for hourly and exempt level employees.
•   Ability to perform complex tasks typically following established processes.
•   Experience leading and directing the work of others.
•   Knowledge of learning management systems and creation of online content.
