Eurofins MET Laboratories is searching for Engineers in our Environmental Simulation Laboratory, in Union City, CA.

Eurofins MET Laboratories, Inc. is one of the Nation's leading laboratories for the testing and certification of electronic and electrical products. We are a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and have been serving clients for over 50 years.

Test Engineer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Create and follow test plans and test procedures.

• Conduct tests in accordance with industry standards, customer test plans, and internal test procedures.

• Ensure test equipment is calibrated or is functionally verified for current and upcoming projects.

• Perform quality checks for the department

• Provide schedules and timely responses to customers.

• Support laboratory audits.

• Maintain METrak (RFB, task status, project review, etc.)

• Other duties as deemed appropriate by management and for which management believes adequate experience exists, or for which knowledge can be easily obtained in order to perform such duties.

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Quickly learn how to perform earthquake testing, flammability testing, temperature/humidity/altitude testing, and perform other stress testing on a wide variety sorts of products

• Travel as needed

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Union City, CA are encouraged to apply.
