What You Will Be Doing The creation of production test systems' hardware and software falls within the purview of the senior test engineer. This covers software implementation and validation, hardware design at the board level, and algorithm creation for both specialized and generic automated test equipment (ATE) platforms. We are seeking a highly motivated person who is enthusiastic about working with a cross-functional team to carry out the following duties:

" Create test boards and probe cards at the board level to facilitate production testing.
" To support a volume ramp, manage suppliers, troubleshoot, and install hardware.
" Create hardware and software for unique test solutions.
" Create and update test software.
" Work together with people from foreign Operations to put test solutions into use.
" Oversee initiatives that improve capacity, reduce costs, and boost yield.
" As business needs change or as management deems it necessary, support additional initiatives.
" Handle the transition of the NPI (New Product Introduction) test package to production responsibly.
What You Need for this Position " At least a BS in electrical engineering, or comparable experience. 5 years minimum of relevant job experience.
" Strong foundation in the creation of ATEs for mixed-signal ICs, practical experience using ATE systems including the ETS-364, ETS-88, uFLEX, and Verigy 93k from Teradyne.
" Experience with board-level design and debugging as well as knowledge of analog circuits.
" Proven track record in test data statistical analysis.
" Practical experience with electronics lab equipment. It is helpful but not necessary to have prior expertise with metrology systems for analyzing timing parameters.
" Excellent programming abilities and prior C++ expertise; knowledge of MATLAB and Python is helpful but not necessary.
