We're currently looking to bring on Software Engineers who are collaborative, curious & continuous learners - all key elements of operating in a technical consulting role! Our team is made up of both prior technical consultants & industry software engineers with zero consulting experience - whatever your background, we're excited to provide the opportunity to solve complex & cutting edge technology problems across diverse industries here in Austin!

What You'll Do

• As a member of a growing team, you will help to define and influence the team culture and environment

• Work on solution-based, outcome-oriented projects with a highly skilled team, for some of Austin's (and the world's) top companies

• Build modern software solutions using cutting-edge Cloud-based technologies

• Be immersed in and drive agile project environments for clients

What You'll Bring

• Hands-on software engineering experience using modern, object oriented programming languages (Java, React, Node.js, etc.)

• A passion for crafting and delivering high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations

• A desire for ongoing learning and enhancing your technical expertise - we take professional development seriously & will enable you to go after your next certification(s) and upskill in areas that will help you grow, both for your role @ Slalom & beyond!

• Strong problem-solving and software triage skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a constantly evolving work environment

• Knowledge of agile methodologies, QA processes and TDD.

Preferred but not required:

• Experience developing in a Cloud environment

• Certification in AWS, GCP, Azure or other common cloud solution

• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and deployment
