RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing and established nationwide engineering technology company is seeking a RF Radio Communications System Architect in Orem, UT. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. This individual will be responsible for architecture, designing, integrating, implementing, and maintaining complex radio communication systems, as well as integrating various communication technologies to ensure seamless operation.Responsibilities:- Architecture and implementation of radio communication systems, including data transmission systems
- Integration of various communication technologies, radios, mesh-networks, etc.
- RF Radio Communications System Architect will handle Digital Radio, RF, propagation, antennae, etc.
- Will work with Design Engineers and Integration Engineers
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of communication systems to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Conducting field surveys and assessments to identify potential communication issues and recommending solutions
- As a RF Radio Communications System Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement communication solutions that meet customer needs
- Staying up to date with new communication technologies and trends and making recommendations for improvement
- Their system operates within 900 MHz to 5Ghz
- Low-level configuration on the command line
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, RF Communications or related field
- At least 5-8+ years of experience in Radio Communication and integration systems engineering, including architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance
- Strong experience with Digital Radio, RF, propagation, antennae
- Experience with Wi-Fi, Cellular and/or Satellite communications
- Strong understanding of communication technologies, including voice and data transmission systems, satellite, and microwave systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex communication issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ideal candidate will have hands on experience selecting and operating different types of radios, systems, and wireless networks across a wide spectrum of frequency's
- Experience with computer networking
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems
- Experience with Radar, Lidar or RF based systems
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
