Senior Research Analyst
Job Description Summary
The Senior Analyst is responsible for all local research output. This position gathers and analyzes local market data and interprets information to identify trends in the market, provides support in developing pitch and/or proposal materials, and develops local thought leadership. The Senior Analyst is accountable for proactive and routine maintenance of proprietary and third-party databases. The position will serve as quality control auditor to ensure accuracy of reports, data and adherence to corporate standards.
Job Description

• Trains, supervises and mentors Research Analysts
• Proactively and routinely updates and manages research database(s)
• Oversees and directs local quarterly data compilation and statistical production including forecasting and client requests
• Analyzes data, compiles, and writes quarterly reports
• Manages the production and distribution of analytical local research materials
• Coordinates and fulfills all requests for research information including market statistics and analysis for prospecting, pitch, and/or proposal materials
• Contributes to local market thought leadership
  • Provides research information for use by Managing Principal and Brokers in media interviews
  • Partners with marketing to publicize market trends and analysis to social media platforms and website
• Attends, participates in, and presents market information and quarterly updates at internal sales meetings, client pitches, and presentations
• Trains and orients core business units and administrative assistants on research products, databases, and services
• Shares best practices within and across market or offices
  Qualifications
  

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in real estate industry or research-related field
• Professional acumen, demonstrated interest in and understanding of commercial real estate
• Experience in data entry/data management and time series analysis/forecasting
• Experience in developing forward-looking insights
