We are looking for a Sr. Regional Sales Manager to focus on our Government and Military partnerships throughout the United States. In this role, you will work closely with exclusive distributors to convert high-level opportunities into new equipment sales.

In this role, you will have a direct impact by prioritizing and executing objectives based on government and military sales opportunities to increase OMAX market penetration, including:

  • Working with distribution account managers to ensure OMAX is the brand of choice
  • Qualify customer leads and introduce distribution account managers
  • Provide waterjet expertise to customer base and account managers
  • Train sales and support teams on the OMAX product lines on how to build a distinct value proposition and create demand for the OMAX product line
  • Provide immediate and real-time support to the government customer base. Staying in frequent contact with existing and prospective customers
  • Visit existing and viable customers regularly. Informing customers of product developments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Sales/Marketing, or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8+ years of quota-driven industrial/capital equipment sales
  • Current driver's license
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities with the ability to demonstrate and present product features, benefits, and values using technical product knowledge, and train distributor sales force on our products
  • Capable of solutions selling, recommending the appropriate integrated suite of products for the application
  • Competitive knowledge within the respective region/marketplace and our industry
  • Ability to work independently with the self-confidence to sell to individuals or complex committee-driven organizations
  • Knowledge of machine tools, manufacturing process, or capital equipment sales
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), including professionalism with email and phone communication methods as many times traveling to the customer is not required
  • Experience with CRM systems

Physical Demands and Travel:
  • Travel: 25-50% per year
  • Location: The United States within 1 hour of a major airport
  • Ability to work from a home office
  • Ability to demonstrate OMAX waterjet systems
