We are taking a radically different approach to traditional issuers in providing low-interest access and individualizing someone's credit line and experience through our platform no matter what their credit score or background is. We are integrating financial literacy and behavioral training to help people use credit responsibly and developing a proprietary underwriting platform that can be used for other fair financial services.

As our first designer hire, you will play a fundamental role in building an engaging and rewarding experience for our users as they establish and build up their credit scores and develop better financial habits while helping ensure they get access to fair credit to support their essential needs.

What You Will Be Doing - Work closely with the product team to understand customer requirements translating them into an effective visual interface
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Responsible for producing fully functional mobile applications while writing clean code
- Contribute innovative and original ideas via brainstorming sessions with all teams
- Develop in an Agile environment with a passionate product team
- Integrating applications with internal and external backend service APIs
- Write interface tests, develop code, and participate in code reviews
What You Need for this Position - Proven experience (4+ years) as a mobile engineer with a demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App store and the Android market
- In-depth knowledge of the React Native framework
- Experience integrating with cloud based services, we prefer AWS
- Previous experience in multiple (2+) early stage startups
- Demonstrated self starter mentality with a focus for building
- Passion for continuous learning and developing new skills
- Desire to work in an Agile development environment (Kanban or Scrum)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when facing ambiguous situations
- Familiarity and usage of git version control
