Position: Senior Product Manager

Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066

Duties: Drive the API product lifecycle from requirements definition, metrics analysis, research, technical specifications, development, testing, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other launch efforts. Define, develop, and implement REST API products for the Walmart Advertising Platform to support user scalability and system availability. Analyze API performance through reporting tools and define product strategy to enhance the API scalability. Collaborate with engineering team to define functional test cases to ensure new API integrations are backward compatible and do not break any existing integrations with Walmart partners. Collaborate with the design team to design and develop user mockups for prototyping user journeys on Walmart Ad Center. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure on time API adoption from Walmart partners. Run alpha and beta product release programs to understand the impact of the product on the Walmart Advertising Platform and gain sample results to perform data analysis. Perform funnel analysis to understand user behavior on Walmart Advertising Platform and take measured steps to improve conversions and decrease user churn. Build collaborative relationships to communicate and prioritize product roadmaps and gain buy-in from executive leadership. Coordinate scrum meetings to discuss product backlogs and get backlog items ready for upcoming sprints. This position does not supervise employees.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Business Administration, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management.

Skills required: Experience designing REST API solutions for product features and defining the API contract through Swagger. Experience performing testing and troubleshooting on APIs using Postman, Swagger UI, Turnilo, and Splunk. Experience designing API product strategy with engineering stakeholders using Confluence and Miro Board. Experience designing REST API architecture including API proxy layers, load balancers, microservices, and backend databases. Experience designing and developing mockups using Figma. Experience defining functional test cases on Cucumber. Experience running alpha and beta test programs through controlled experiments using A/B tests on Expo. Experience executing funnel analysis using Quantum Metric to derive insights. Experience with backlog grooming and sprint refinement using Epics and story writing in JIRA. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $163,571/year to $234.000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
