The Role in Brief:

Senior Marketing Strategy Analyst (Adult Learner Recruitment Division)

The Senior Marketing Strategy Analyst will discover, analyze, and communicate optimal marketing strategies that accelerate results for all partners. The role will leverage EAB's unparalleled marketplace insight into cross-partner analyses that demonstrate authority and clearly demonstrate EAB's value. The Marketing Strategy Analyst will be central to the Analytics team mission to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

This role is based in Richmond, VA.

Primary Responsibilities:

Marketing Analysis and Reporting:

  • Partner with Adult Learner Recruitment (ALR) leadership and other teams with cross-partner campaign research, trend discovery, learning agenda analysis, program optimization recommendations and other marketing analyses.
  • Communicate findings through case studies and other presentations.
  • Discover and advocate improvements to reporting and data capabilities that will enhance corporate visibility into campaign performance and systematic identification of opportunities that improve partner outcomes.
  • Prepare ad-hoc research and reporting for learning agenda, pilot campaigns, and other marketing initiatives as needed.

Data Mining and Visualization:
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to perform strategic analysis and research.
  • Explore evolving student-level data using robust analytical methodologies to drive marketing strategies and identify new opportunities to optimize EAB marketing campaigns.
  • Lead Analytics team to articulate the value that EAB brings to the marketplace through use of cross-partner student-focused data.
  • Utilize appropriate data visualizations to translate analytic results and impacts for full organizational understanding.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, marketing, or quantitative field
  • 3-4 years' experience using data analysis to generate insightful findings
  • 2+ years' experience using SQL or other query tools/languages to perform data manipulation, with a working knowledge of databases
  • 2+ years' experience with business intelligence software, preferably Tableau
  • Exceptional analytic skills with a focus on converting investigation into strategy
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to articulate findings and strategies clearly and effectively
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse functional areas to successfully complete projects
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and a desire to own projects from inception to presentation

Ideal Qualifications:
  • 2+ years' experience in direct marketing or higher education analytics
  • Experience developing data focused PowerPoint presentations
