Thispositionsupports our360-communicationsstrategy for WalmartConnect, whichisourcompany's retail media business.Retail media is emerging as the third wave in digital advertising. In just a few short years,Walmart Connect hasestablished itself asanindustry leader that connects brands more meaningfully with customers through our omnichannel advertising solutions. That's why we are seeking aseasonedcommunicator to help drive Walmart Connect'sthought leadership as a retail media leader,andboostbrand awareness acrossthe advertising industry.Reporting to the communications lead for Walmart Connect, this role willbe a senior partner to support and lead 360-comms plans, reaching diverse audiences both internally andexternally.TheSenior Manager will specialize in becomingthe "voice of advertiser," making sure our external content and advertiser-facing updates speak directly to their needs and interests.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Bringing your knowledge of the retail media space, or quickly becoming fluent in the complex dynamics of this emerging field.Understand the needs and interests of advertisers.
  • Providing strategic counsel toWalmart Connectpartners and advancingbusinesspriorities through communication.Your ability to jump in with executive presence and thought leadership is key.
  • Developing& measuring the effectiveness of stories and messages targeted to advertisersacross multiple channels - from external events to shaping our blog strategyandadvertiser-facing communications.
  • Reinforcingour strategic storytelling initiatives through internal channels. This role will manage (andhas the opportunity toreimagine) communications like ourinternalweeklynewsletter, associate memos and sales talking points for keyadproduct and business announcements. This role will also help to shape executive talking points for internal weekly meetings and town halls.
  • Establishing clear processes - or optimize existing workflows - with business partners andsetting shared priorities.
  • Effectively communicating and collaborating with cross-functional teams-including marketing and training teams, product, sales,insightsand analysts,legal, and colleagues across the enterprise- to advance objectives.

You'll sweep us off our feet if:
  • You have a deep understanding of retail media, orthe advertising andad tech industry at large,and the current challenges facing marketers. Likewise, a proven ability to speak to the advertiser community (from brands to agencies.)
  • Or, you have ademonstrated track recordofquicklydevelopingsubject-matter expertise innew industriesanddeveloping fluency withnew audiences.
  • You're a storyteller, creativethinkerand a visionary with a passion for our areas of work (or are keen to develop one!)You're a master at making complex subjects easily understood through words and visuals.
  • You have broadexperience as a 360 communicator, from media relations to client communications tosupporting executives.
  • You have a high bar for writing, grammar, and hawkish attention to detail to deliver high-quality, customer-obsessed content.You'll knock us over completely with a provenability to think like a journalist- either with a background in PR or in media.
  • Youare a self-starter and have strong interpersonal, project management, and analytical skills. You're organized, disciplined and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Extra points for having a background in navigating complex organizations to GSD.
  • Youhave the ability toproblem solveusing frameworks, analysis, and cross functional influence.
  • You have 8+ years' experience in building and managing communications programs with deepexpertisein strategy.

Location: San Francisco Bay Area, New York City area, Bentonville. Other areas where Walmart Connect has a presence will be considered.
