Description

Pennoni is seeking for a Senior IT Technician to work in our Philadelphia office. This individual will work with our Security and Service Desk Teams to help redefine how IT Services are delivered in a modern distributed multi-discipline engineering firm using innovative technology.

Responsibilities

  • Practice continuous improvement of IT service delivery through the ITIL framework
  • Present a professional image as a representative of the firm
  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and every level of management.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in technology and remain highly technically competent while striving for enhanced user productivity
  • Actively participate on projects as needed involving departmental or cross-functional teams
  • Develop scripts to automate processes, extract information and perform routine functions related to desktop support and management
  • Field incoming help requests from end users via telephone, e-mail and ITSM system
  • Build rapport with key operators, IT teammates and end users to provide outstanding service.
  • Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician
  • Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the firm
  • Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, and configuring systems and applications.
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups to IT Incidents
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles for internal staff
