Job Title: Senior Human Resources Manager, Employee Relations

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Description

The Senior Human Resources Manager will have three mandates, manage Employee Relations, HR Compliance, and Performance Management for Galderma US. The incumbent will oversee the Employee Relations framework and lead a broad array of HR initiatives in a highly challenging and rewarding environment, while playing a significant role in influencing the culture at Galderma. This position will be responsible for conducting and documenting a variety of HR investigations, oversee the Performance Management process and ensure HR compliance throughout the organization. The Senior HR Manager will work in partnership with the respective HR Business Partners, Employees, Leadership, Legal and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Employee Relations framework for Galderma US, while collaborating with the HR Business Partners, Legal and the Business Units and Corporate Functions.
  • Evaluate, refresh and reintroduce the performance management framework for Galderma US, in partnership with the HR Business Partners, Legal and the Business Units and Corporate Functions.
  • Supports the resolution of employee performance issues through collaboration with business unit leadership. Ensures appropriate corrective action steps are taken, including coaching, disciplinary action and/or Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Initiates and conducts timely investigations and assists managers in preparing documentation and making recommendations for appropriate action regarding employee related issues.
  • Prepares and documents investigative plans detailing the investigation, plan of action and resolution as outlined per company standards and expectations.
  • Provides support to employees and managers in the handling of human resource related activities, which may include employee relations, employee concerns, communication and the interpretation of policies and procedures.
  • Lead HR Compliance with responsibility for HR policies, employee handbook(s), conduct HR risk assessments, and manage other statutory requirements such as EEOC reporting, Affirmative Action, and ERISA.
  • Provides and tracks compliance of required training including conducting Employee Orientation, New Manager Orientation, Harassment Awareness and other related compliance training as needed.
  • Ensure employee policies are up to date by monitoring and proposing policy updates as needed.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in HR or Business related field
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated investigative experience with extensive experience writing investigative reports
  • Ability to coordinate, plan, document and manage a project of moderate complexity as described, as normally obtained through three to five years of experience in a customer or internal client-facing role.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation
  • Must work collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Must have the ability to make recommendation to effective resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.
  • Ability to manage and maintain highly confidential information
