TPD is looking for a Senior Geologist to assist with an exploration project outside of Tucson, Arizona with a junior mining company.

About the Job:
Reporting to the Senior Resource Geologist, the Senior Geologist is responsible for logging and sampling existing core. We are looking specifically for someone with experience analyzing and working with porphyry ore deposits. Due to concerns about the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are currently only accepting applications from candidates in the Tucson area or within a 500 mile radius.
Senior Geologist Responsibilities

• Perform surface and underground mapping and sampling over prospect areas.
  
• Manage and interpret geochemical data
  
• Maintain accurate and detailed core logs and samples
  
• Communicate results and progress via presentations and written reports
  

Senior Geologist Requirements

• Commitment to maintaining and promoting work safety standards
  
• Minimum of 8 years geology experience, with at least 3 years working with porphyry deposits
  
• Grad or Post-Grad degree in Geology or other related discipline
  
• Experience with specialized geochemical equipment and testing
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
