ECS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work in our Indianapolis, IN office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:
ECS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) on their new Budget and Financial Support Services Contract.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide a broad range of comptroller support services in the areas of financial management and policy including acquisition support, project planning, budget analysis, PPBE, cost analysis and policies/ procedures
• Analyze business technical needs to formulate and implement improvements
• Provide financial reporting support for reporting projects as assigned

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• Must have a Secret Clearance
• 8 or more years of Defense Department financial management experience
• Firm understanding of DoD accounting and audit practices; required experience in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)
• Demonstrated experience providing technical/subject matter expertise; and in planning, organizing, executing, and controlling project tasks resulting in successful delivery of professional services
• Previous experience preparing and presenting complex financial analysis to senior management
• Advanced Excel skills to include pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros
• Proficient in MS Word and Power Point

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a Defense Agency
• Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certification
• CDFM (Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) Certification
