What you'll do...

UX Writer/Content Designer

As part of our team,you'll write the in-app copy forour Last Mile Deliverysolutionswhichwill be used by Walmart and other retailers using ourThird-party Technology Services.You'll also work alongside engineers, product designers, and operators in a fast-growing environment. Thisrole requires a mix of technicalaptitude,communication skills,deep knowledge of grammar and punctuation, as well asstrong project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Interact with customer-facing teams to understand customer use cases, workflows, and what customers need to be successful
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, Research, Engineering, Operations, and Legal
  • Identify customers' needs and gaps in existing content
  • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images,and tone)
  • Participate in team meetings to estimate content requirements and deadlines, set up SME interviews, work within the team calendar to anticipate upcoming requests, and deliver content withintheneeded timelines
  • Participate in planning meetings, estimate UX content requirements, and provide status updateson progress
  • Edit text for technical clarity, accuracy, grammar, consistent terminology, and style
  • Lead the creation of product-specific UX writing guidelines aligned with our brand guidelines
  • Ability to extract complex concepts and quickly turn around content flows, clear copy, and information architecture
  • Conduct competitive analysis, research, and/or usability testing

  • Understanding of software development processes, concepts, and terms

Education and Experience Qualifications
  • BA in English, Technical Writing, Creative Writing, or a relevant area
  • 5+years UX writing experience
  • Experience developing, using, and maintaining a UX style guide
  • Experience writing UX content, with expertise in crafting strong calls to action
  • Experience using Figma, Zeplin, and Sketch
  • Portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines
