Walmart Individual Pharmacist Enrollment is the team that links our pharmacists as providers to state Medicaid as well as commercial insurance carriers Walmart is contracted with. We have direct interaction with our Pharmacy teams, Payors, Walmart Pharmacy Billing, Credentialing, and the Walmart Pharmacy Operations team. Through our work, our pharmacists will be given an expanded scope of practice to see a range of patients to provide greater access to care. We are a fast-paced team requiring flexibility as we are growing at a rapid pace. As Walmart's Pharmacists score of practice grows, so do our responsibilities. Without us, commercial insurance and Medicaid patients cannot see our Providers.

What you'll do...

You will serve as the liaison between pharmacists and insurance companies, facilitating the enrollment process into state Medicaid and/or commercial insurance plans as providers. This role involves working alongside other internal stakeholders to assist pharmacists in enrolling as providers. Additionally, you will manage multiple platforms, requiring you to navigate them efficiently to fulfill daily tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-1 year of experience in pharmacy
• 0-1 year of experience in Medicaid AND/OR Medicare
• 0-1 years of experience working with insurance companies
• 0-1 years of office environment/pharmacy environment
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Ability to solve problems.
• Able to work in a team and by yourself.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience with providers within the pharmacy space
• 1-2 years of experience working with insurance companies OR Medicaid.
