RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a growing Technology company is seeking a Senior C# WPF Software Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The company offers a competitive compensation including base salary, annual bonus, etc.Summary:The Software Developer will work with the development team to create Windows PC based applications for medical device console with modern graphical user interface and underlying data communication, processing, storage and retrieving mechanism. The Software Developer will also develop PC based applications for lab usage per engineering requests.Responsibilities:

• Windows development in C# and WPF
• The application will be developed in a windows environment
• Software Engineer will develop Windows PC based GUI applications
• Create software modules to communicate with other hardware components with established protocols
• Create software modules for data storing and retrieving
• As a Software Engineer, you will generate data processing applications
• Provide documentation suitable for design verification and validation

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
• At least 3-5+ years of software development experience
• Fluent in C# and Window Development Environment
• Experience with C#, WPF, XAML, MVVM with Microsoft Visual Studio
• GUI design and programming
• Object oriented programming in C++ or equivalent
• Computer communication
• Multi-Threaded programming experience
• Solid understand of fundamental mathematical concepts, such as Linear Algebra is preferred
• Self-starter, able to lead an effort and work independently with certain level of guidance
• Good communicator, able to lead discussion, conduct brainstorming and reach agreement despite differences
• Have the capability to manage the resources and time allotted in an efficient manner

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in RESTful web services
• Implementation of Algorithms
• Experience in SQL or NoSQL database
• Knowledge in cloud platform such as Azure or AWS
• Knowledge in hybrid platform application development
• Familiarity with other programming language such as JavaScript, Python
