Job Title: Senior Application Developer

 

Location: Pasadena, CA

 

Job Duties:

 

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Application Developer at our Pasadena, California location. Responsibilities: Ensure high software application quality and performance and develop resilient, reliable and scalable software solutions. Develop coding/feature deliverables, following unit test standards, participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge. Coordinate the workflow between the end user, Product Owner, developer, and yourself, providing direction and helping them solve critical problems. Coordinate deploying process to different environments. Help the support team triage bugs and troubleshoot production issues as soon as they are identified. Create software documentation and update existing documents. Participate actively/follow Agile/Scrum development methodology, including daily standups, poker planning (development estimation), tasking, etc.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering discipline or a related field plus five (5) years of experience. 

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: Java and J2EE development; Object oriented programming including composition and inheritance; Frameworks including Spring Boot or Hibernate; Microservices and REST API development; Java applications and architecture, including analyzing log files, researching errors, managing security, and configuring database connections; HTML5 / CSS3 / JavaScript in React or Angular UI framework; SQL and NoSQL Databases -- Oracle, PostgreSQL or MongoDB; Database and writing/debugging SQL queries and PL/SQL programs; and AWS, Serverless architecture.
