Search Engine Evaluator | Work From Home

Appen Search Engine Evaluators perform basic online tasks to evaluate the quality and relevance of internet-based search results, advertisements and/or web page content. This position helps to ensure that people around the world are presented the most effective and relevant data possible when searching for information on the internet. In other words, your input counts in creating a better user experience for people looking for data online around the globe.

Project Overview

You will work on many different types of rating projects based on web search. Your ratings will be used to evaluate search engine quality around the world! Good search engines give results that are helpful for people in their specific language and locale. It is important you are familiar with and comfortable using a search engine.

Requirements:

* Must be currently residing in and able to perform work tasks in United States

* Proficient in written English and Spanish language skills

* Have a smartphone and a Gmail address

* High-speed internet connection with experience using the internet and performing searches

* Must work for a minimum of 15 hours per week if work is available

Characteristics for Success:

* Ability and desire to work from home doing internet-based work

* Basic level of computer operational knowledge

* Ability and willingness to comprehend and follow instructions independently

* Experience as a freelancer or other work-from-home opportunities

* Experience using the internet and performing searches

Other things you need to know:

* All candidates are required to take and pass a qualification exam in order to work on the project.
