Job DescriptionThe Select Group is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test Opening for a long term role with a top company in the Telecommunications Industry, this individual will be a part of the clients domain testing group responsible for billing systems. They will be hands-on with the Amdocs billing systems as well as the neighboring billing applications. This group is responsible for testing the end-to-end flow of the development code.
SDET SKILLS

• 5 Plus years of hands-on Testing Experience
• Experience with Test Planning
• Being Able to manage Pre and Post Production Testing for Applications
• 3 Plus years of Java Development Experience
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain java application phases, code, and software
• Microservices/API Testing experience: Rest APIs / Postman APIs (Preferred)
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as recommending changes to improve the established processes.
• Familiarity with a variety of designs, languages, and methodologies (e. SQL, J2EE)
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Experience with Angular or Spring Boot
• HUGE PLUS= Database testing experience - (e. Oracle / CloudBase)
• Defect Management Testing Tools: ex.. ALM , Jira , QTest

SDET RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write, test, and fix written code
• Run code through a suite of regression tests
• Develop new automation tests and contribute to continuous delivery
• Collaborate with Amdocs and internal team
• Create & manage bug reports and communicate with the team.
• Able to build different test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Handle technical communications with partners to understand client's systems or APIs.
• Work with deployments teams and resolving any level issues for the system.
• Set up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
