Screener, Officer or Shuttle Bus Driver- Security
Kings Dominion

Screener:

• Completes all necessary paperwork and documentation. 
• Enforces all park policies, rules and regulations. 
• Checks for hand stamps on guests re-entering the park. 
• Stamps hands of departing guests who intend to re-enter park that day. 
• Collects, scans, separates counts and tallies different types of tickets and passes. 
• Verifies validity of tickets, passes and season passes. 
• Inspects guests, their packages and belongings for contraband. 
• Scans guests with hand-held metal dectors as necessary. 
• Monitors and controls guests entering and exiting the park via main gate. 
• Monitors walk through metal detectors. 

Officer:

• Enforces all park policies, rules and regulations. 
• Patrols park

Shuttle Bus Driver:

• Performs a variety of duties in handling and organizing transportation and activities for guests and staff at Kings Dominion
• Performs minor maintenance on vehicles, including fueling, oil checks and cleaning. Schedules repairs or maintenance work to vehicles with supervision as needed
• Using excellant customer service skills, establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees and all members of the general public.
• Ability to complete various forms and records, including updated route sheets,time sheets, field trip forms, incident reports, etc. 
• Knowledge, abilities and skills: Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of the precautions to avoid accidents.
• Good Driving Record. No DUI convictions past fifeteen (15) years. 
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Required Class B with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes 
• First Aid Certification 
• CPR Certification 
• Driver's License
