Job Description

Our Warden-Washington plant, located just outside of Moses Lake near a variety of outdoor recreational activities (hiking/fishing/water recreation), produces a variety of products including French Fries, Hash Browns, Puffs, and Patties, for retail clients, restaurants, and food services customers globally.

  • Ensure a sanitary and clean work environment for the facility's processing, equipment, packaging equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Perform cleaning with the use of high- pressure hoses (air and hot water), tools such as scratch pads, brushes, sponges, squeegees, paper towels, shovels, brooms, buckets, wheel-barrows, carts, ladders, garbage cans, pallet jacks, flashlights, and cleaning agents.
  • Operate machinery safely in the assigned cleaning area using lock-outs when necessary.
  • Remove static product, foreign material, and product buildup from equipment or areas which the supervisor assigned by hand scrubbing, chemical foaming, shoveling, scraping, rinsing and sweeping.
  • Properly mix and use potentially hazardous chemicals to clean and sanitize.
  • Learn, understand, and utilize all Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance, turning equipment on and off, and following lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Communicate with Team Leaders on new projects, assignments, and requirements in a team environment.
  • Perform duties as directed but be open to learning new skills and positions due to changes in production needs.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and maintain a safe work environment at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Must be able to work & train on any shift while maintaining a good attendance record.
  • Must be able to communicate, comprehend, and follow instructions in English (both written and oral).
  • Must be able to work in environments with temperature extremes and environments that include humid conditions, including wet, oily, and slippery floors.
  • Must be able to work with hazardous and corrosive chemicals.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs/ladders, and work independently with little supervision.
