Description:

Boyd's Sales Operations Manager's mission is to enable data backed decision making. Our team wants a candidate who is interested in changing the way our company does business from the inside out. You will own corporate & executive internal reporting. Provide actionable insights and visibility to global business trends. Work will be organized into daily, weekly, monthly reporting deliverables and often require additional deep dives into certain KPI's where executives may have additional questions or need further insights. You will play a critical role in delivering world class go to market (GTM) reporting to all team members of the sales and GTM organization.

Role Description:

  • Identify gaps & provide recommendations for data quality improvements including process changes & data cleansing (ETL).
  • Work closely with leadership and sales team to identify systems, data, or process needs that can drive revenue growth; with a goal of streamlining the sales process.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify gaps and conduct feedback sessions with sales representatives to improve sales.
  • Manage system data and other integrations.
  • Understand the Account Management, Opportunity Management & Pipeline forecasting. Support and improve the pipeline metrics insights and reporting.
  • Support and produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reporting deliverables to the organization. Owning and executing the corrections required out of the reconciliation of reports.
  • Administration and support of system application, timely resolution of requests. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, diagnose & respond to issues and requests.
  • Analyze and develop sales operations policies and procedures for better sales optimization.
  • Engage with the sales team to identify opportunities for improvement and conversions.
  • Develop and own standard sales reporting that provides transparency into the business, and proactively identify risks and opportunities to our sustained revenue growth
  • Aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements.
  • Take charge as a primary liaison on sales force automation projects/trends.
  • Ensure everyday sales operation tasks are aligned with organizations sales goals and objectives
  • Recognize patterns in data and devise unconventional out-of-the-box solutions for each step of the sales funnel
  • Examine past data and previous trends to help the sales function with identifying any issues with the existing sales process, pipeline, and metrics while finding the best solutions.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience and expertise as a Senior Leader or Manager in Sales Operations Analyst, Business Analyst, or Finance role
  • Ability to communicate in English both written and verbal
  • Work experience in B2B (Business to Business) manufacturing workspace
  • In-depth understanding of multiple functions, such as finance, product management, marketing, and data management, data analytics, etc.
  • Managed teams in sales operations and/or customer supporting roles
  • Participated in a leadership role during the Annual forecasting process including combining various team commitments/templates/input files and providing support to commercial members
  • Supported period Revenue and GM forecasting, pricing actions, market impacts, and customer P&L reviews with commercial teams
  • Provide sales revenue and GM reports performance to Target reports
  • Support Sales Incentive Plan execution, including performance to plan metrics, for internal reps and commission payments for external sales representatives
  • Experience in Revenue Realization metrics from Opportunity Pipeline Wins
  • Proven ability to manage large sets of data, analyse and derive insights-based sales operation metrics.
  • Technical expertise with CRMs, business intel platforms, and data modelling is a bonus!
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams as you will act as an advocate for the sales team in many instances. We are a global company, and you may be required to work with different team members in different time zones and locales
  • Ability to work in varied shift arrangements.
  • Nice to Have: experience with contracts, user provisioning and/or order to cash process
  • Nice to Have: experience with revenue retention and lifetime value of customers
