The Inside Business Development Administrator will work closely with the Business Development Manager, SaaS operations, marketing and overall business development team to identify and qualify prospects and move the sales cycle forward. They will work in Sales Force, LinkedIn and related business support and development platforms, including industry data to develop and grow the sales pipeline. The Inside Business Development Administrator will work closely with the marketing department to execute and evaluate lead generation activities.

You'll need at least 2+ years of experience of SaaS experience and welcome the opportunity to make an impact from day one.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a key member of the SaaS SensibleIoT business development team, this role will be responsible for a full range of activities including:
  • Prospect outbound leads
    • Using LinkedIn Navigator, Sales Force and related platforms and working with marketing, nurture a pipeline of Tier 1 outbound leads through a comprehensive mix of approaches including: cold calls, emails, mass marketing tools, internet searches, networking, and referrals
  • Qualify and filter Inbound and Outbound Leads
    • Respond to inbound leads in a timely manner
    • Determine customer's financial resources, needs, and fit for our product
    • Initiate and build trust and rapport; tailor the value proposition to customers
  • Use sound judgment to determine the most qualified leads appropriate to hand off Business Development Manager
  • Create email templates for inbound and outbound lead generation
  • Maintain and update Salesforce accounts to ensure accurate and timely data for forecasting and sales operations
  • Work to support opportunities to increase probability of closing to generate revenue
  • Answer basic questions around SensibleIoT products and capabilities
  • Assist in management of regional event and webinar follow up
  • Compile market feedback from various stake holders as deemed useful
  • Work with Director of Sales Development to update campaign messages each quarter
    NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    • B.A. /B.S. with relevant professional experience in the SaaS market sector.
    • 2+ years of SaaS experience
    • Strong Sales Force, Power Point experience
    • Proficient using Excel and Word
    • Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management
    • Able to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities (i.e., self-starter, self-motivated)
    • Resourcefulness, flexibility, and resiliency to operate in a dynamic work environment
    • Excellent listening and comprehension skills
    • Proven track record of consistent achievement working in creative and undefined business environments
    • Demonstrated cold calling ability with success getting targeted prospects to engage in constructive communication
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities
    • Demonstrates self as a team player and leader
    • Ability to work effectively under deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities
    • Professional in appearance and conduct
    • Capability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
    • Valid driver's license
    • Willingness and ability to work remotely
