Job Title:Research Technician 1Department:FAES | School of Environment and Natural Resources

The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct field surveys of green salamanders in Ohio. Duties will include field data collection and data entry. An average work week will be approximately 40 hours. Field housing accommodations will be provided while assisting with this research.

Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or Associate's degree. 0-1 years or experience required.
Experience conducting green salamander surveys. Applicants must be in good physical condition; surveys will require hiking over rugged terrain while carrying up to 20lbs of field gear. Excellent record keeping and organization skills. Must have valid driver's license and ability to drive to field sites. Must be able to work independently and interact professionally and respectfully with project managers, biologists, technicians, the public, and volunteers.

The salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
