The Security & Privacy Risk Metrics and Reporting Specialist position will blend strong data visualization skills with a report and dashboard development background and a keen business sense to help develop an executive management Tableau dashboard of actionable information security and privacy control effectiveness metrics and key risk indicators, built upon the NIST CSF framework and linked to global security and data privacy regulations. Working with a small team of information security & privacy risk experts, the Specialist will help build the catalog of business reports that the Global Security & Privacy Office delivers to the board of directors, IT executives, and risk managers throughout the global organization.

The Security & Privacy Risk Metrics and Reporting Specialist will be responsible for delivering and supporting information security & privacy business intelligence reports and dashboards, in partnership with internal business stakeholders and security and engineering teams. The Specialist will lead enhancements and small-scale projects (from inception through to production) and will be responsible for creating and maintaining online reports and dashboards that house information on vulnerabilities, threats, incident, and compliance data related to the organization.

Responsibilities:

The candidate will:

• Work with internal subject matter experts to understand existing security & privacy data, and then create visually compelling and accurate security reports and dashboards to support Information Security Privacy & Risk Metrics, historical data trend analysis, and identification of opportunities to drive continuous process improvement
• Use Tableau to contextualize complex information in a manner suitable to executive audiences
• Identify key business metrics measurements and develop methods to represent data in support of the measurements
• Cultivate an understanding of security concepts to assist in identifying ongoing information, measurement, and reporting needs
• Work with internal team members to understand and define reporting requirements
• Document reporting requirements and define report templates and dashboard specifications
• Establish, maintain, configure, and support the Risk Metrics & Measurements Tableau Site
• Generate required monthly and quarterly metrics reports and PowerPoint presentations
• Manage data extract schedules and access to reports

Qualifications

• Expertise with security and privacy frameworks and regulations, including NIST CSF, GDPR, etc.
• Solid understanding of security controls, key risk indicators, and metrics development
• Possess strong data modeling skillset and background.
• Possess analytical reasoning skills with the ability to recognize and evaluate facts, to objectively analyze situations, and to synthesize and organize data/information from multiple sources and highlight salient facts
• Experience with Tableau and with analytical tools supporting data analysis and reporting (Alteryx, etc).
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of data reporting, data visualization, and executive dashboard creation
• Excellent English writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
• Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on tight deadlines
• Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint
