RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Remote - Senior Engineer - Communications Hub.Duties:

• Collaborating with technical & executive stakeholders as needed
• Offer technical management for the communication hub and delivery platforms including email, SMS, and chat
• Direct internal & consultant resources and confirm all best practices are followed
• Lead hands-on design, development, and implementation
• Aid in architecture & technical evaluation for customer communication solutions
• In charge of technical customer hub solution
• Lead solution design chats
• Follow and complete requirement signoffs in an Agile realm
• Provide guidance and advice to junior staff

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS in Computer Science or related area
• AWS Certified Developer preferred
• 5+ years in programming experience
• 2+ years of implementing and building Marketing and Communication solutions such as email, SMS, chat automated bolts and custom development using web based, cloud architecture and micro-services
• 2+ years of background with integrating internal and external systems using many integration patterns such as ETL, web services and re-time messaging; Knowledge with Cloud Platforms (AWS), Serverless architecture and Java RESTful API development is mandatory
• 2+ years of background with developer tools such as GIT, Jenkins, NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS lambda, SNS, SQS, Elasticsearch, S3, DynamoDB is mandatory
• 1+ years of background with Communicating platforms, including Twilio/SendGrid is preferred
• Able to design highly available system with fallback capacity
• Knowledge with influencing decision making
• Provide strong knowledge of development processes and agile methodologies
• Background with preparing systems for peak seasons like holiday for retail
• Background with creating and leveraging relationships in cross-functional teams
• Clear presentation and communication skills
