This is a hybrid position primarily based in either Jersey City NJ or Sacramento CA office locations. Computershare has a tremendous opportunity for an International Relationship Manager to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role (expectation of 2 days in office).

A role you will love

The International Relationship Manager is the primary contact between Computershare and its clients. Basic Relationship Manager responsibilities include ensuring that clients receive the services they've purchased and that those services are delivered in a manner that meets and exceeds the clients' expectations. The Relationship Manager coordinates all major client activities and works proactively to establish and sustain a strategic plan for managing the client's registered shareholder base.
  • Successfully maintain client relationships, most of which will be Issuers that are either incorporated or domiciled outside of the U.S.
  • Manages multiple clients with aggregate revenue of less than approximately $2M.
  • Act as the "conductor" of services for all assigned relationships.
  • Effectively advise clients and manage client events.
  • Communicate new CPU products and initiatives.
  • Understanding the wants and needs of Foreign Private Issuers
  • Identify opportunities to improve client profitability (revenues up/expenses down)
  • Negotiate contracts effectively and ensure client profitability.
  • Establish a positive relationship with each client, as a consultative business partner
  • Respond to all client inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ensures collection of receivables in accordance with Computershare's guidelines
  • Assists key clients in implementing and sustaining a strategic plan.
Travel may be required based on business need: 5%.

What will you bring to the role?

The ideal candidate for the International Relationship Manager role relies on accuracy and attention to detail. As well as strong negotiations skills. They are self-motivated, confident, outgoing, and positive. Demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment, integrity, and honesty. Has the ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs. Requires moderate degree of supervision. Capable of performing other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Other education and key skills required for the role include:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or at least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven success in client relationship management, client focused roles
  • Experience in transfer agency or securities processing relationship management a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience as a well-organized problem solver and technologically savvy.
  • Has strong organizational skills, is results oriented, quick learner, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks consecutively.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication - bilingual skills (German, Italian) a plus.
  • Proficient Computer Skills - MS Office, SCRIP, Cosmos, Issuer Online, Investor Center

Compensation.The typical base pay range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000/yearly. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations: Jersey City, New Jersey | California.
