The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Progressive Care Unit (Zayed 11 West) is a 32 bed unit caring for adult surgical patients. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care (IMC). Services provided: IMC patient arrythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, bedside bronchoscopy, Thoracic surgery (lung resections, pneumonectomy, esophagectomy), Trauma, Urology (RRP, TURP), and variety of other general surgery patients. All New Graduate RNs will be automatically enrolled (no contract) in our yearlong accredited Nurse Residency Program to facilitate your successful transition into professional nursing practice.
Shifts: 12 hour day & night rotating or permanent nights; working 2 out of 6 weekends

- Minimum Education Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Applicants with an Associate's degree JHH provides Tuition Assistance $10,000 - $15,000 per fiscal year towards earning your BSN/MSN
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
- BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
- No RN work experience required
