What You'll Do

We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to manage the sales efforts and operations for the Racquet Sports Division. This role can be based out of the Western US (Arizona, California, Colorado,Pacific Northwest, Texas, Utah) . This individual will manage, coordinate, and direct a group of Territory Managers and Territory Specialist to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

As this is a remote position, you will work independently as part of a larger team. The role offers you relatively high autonomy over your schedule and requires willingness to travel extensively.

In this role, you will:

  • Proactively develop, plan, and execute a strategic sales plan in conjunction with the BU in selling to and managing accounts and other trade channels. This strategy should lead to increasing Wilson product awareness and revenue growth.
  • Direct the sales efforts of all Territory Managers and Territory Specialists within the limits of sales department policies to achieve quarterly and yearly objectives
  • Maintain staff by interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Leverage resources and develop and nurture relationships with key accounts in the region to maximize sales programs and initiatives
  • Provide sales forecasts and information about key accounts and key product categories to the National Sales Manager and Sales Planning.
  • Provide Omni Channel support, as needed, with our key strategic partners
  • Coordinate activities with Sales, Service, and Marketing to increase brand awareness and revenue generation
  • Maintain expenses and promotional budgets for the assigned region

What We're Looking For
  • A Bachelor's Degree, equivalent work experience may be substituted
  • At least 5 year's sales experience in packaged goods or a related industry; experience selling in the team sports industry preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach, develop, and manage employees
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Products: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required within and outside the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, planning, and monitoring skills
  • Demonstrate ability to sell, influence, and negotiate
  • Extensive travel required. Ability to travel up to 60% within the United States & Canada
  • Disciplined to work from a home office when not traveling territory
  • Passion for Racquet Sports strongly preferred
