Cedar Point is seeking a Passionate, Full Time Recruiter with a LOVE for the Amusement Park Industry to join our Growing Recruiting Team!

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years recruiting experience
  • Associate degree/Vocational or technical, study focus on Human Resources
  • Familiarity with grassroots marketing techniques
  • Ability to research and provide detailed contact information for recruiting purposes
  • 15% travel
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Works independently and maintains time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
Responsibilities

  • Work year-round to assist the Recruiting Team to ensure the staffing needs of each division are met within the park for each operating season.
  • Help to promote positive guest experiences for all park associates from point of interview, hiring process, on-boarding and orientation.
  • Participate in the full recruitment process, including the On-boarding, Hiring and Orientation process.
  • Research local and non-local job/career fairs, coordinate registration and payment, as well as enthusiastically represent Cedar Point during these recruiting events.
  • Utilize current recruitment tools, as well as seek out other means of developing and maintaining high-quality candidate pools.
  • Work in a fast pace environment and provide a great first impression to all Cedar Point Associates
  • Creates strategic plans for talent acquisition, using media and general advertisement.
  • Partners with division recruiting liaisons to ensure all divisional staffing needs are communicated to the team and staffing plans are executed accordingly.
  • Investigates concerns of applicants, divisions and current associates in order to efficiently guide and offer guidance, when needed. Ensures all direction is in compliance with Park policies and procedures, along with federal, state and local laws.
  • Provides effective training in ATS system, interviewing techniques and hiring processes for recruiting team
