Judge Healthcare is currently seeking a R&D Project Operations Specialist with one of our top healthcare clients in Kankakee Illinois!

Job Details:

• Location: Kankakee, IL
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Job Type: Contract-based (potential for permanent role)
• Duration: 1 year or more

Responsibilities:
Utilizes established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile and analyze data. Writes technical reports detailing procedures, outcomes, and observations. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and reports to the Associate Director, Global Pathogen Safety Support, GPS KAN or equivalent. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Work as part of a team responsible for 1) providing pathogen safety (PS) support to the Kankakee manufacturing site as required and 2) providing global support to general matters related to PS. In this role, the incumbent will become familiar and knowledgeable with PS studies supporting developmental or licensed products manufactured by the client. He/she will be responsible for assembling data and supportive documentation, preparing spreadsheets and analyzing data, conducting scientific literature searches, writing PS risk assessments, and conducting QC verification of documentation.

Requirements:

Minimum of Masters, or BSC (or equivalent) in Virology, Biochemistry, Biology or related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in biologicals R&D or QC.

Demonstrated ability to work across sites and across international teams is desired.
