The Quality Process Engineer will define current state, identify future state with cross functional team, standardize process, automate data collection & reporting, and expand best practices across North American Depot network. This Role will also lead quality focused continuous improvement initiatives identified by internal and external drivers. The QPE will have contact with primarily internal stakeholders, will be an active problem solver and implement process improvements across the warehouse operation.
Lead continuous improvement activities for depot processes focusing on quality. This will include implementing new technology, processes, and training
Apply project management techniques including scope definition, stakeholder management, creating project schedule, manage execution of schedule and facilitate operational handoff upon project completion.
Develop new and improve existing data collection processes and reporting
Analyze internal and external quality indicators to prioritize activities
Coordinate best practice expansion to all North American depots
Maintain quality levels as set by QA Manager.
Create and enforce a safe working environment
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline
4+ years relevant experience in warehousing or manufacturing
2+ years experience leading continuous improvement projects
The ideal candidate will have:
Access database programming experience
Continuous improvement experience
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
