MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
• Dimensional inspection using calipers, micrometers, bore indicators, profilometers, borescopes, etc.
• Take precision measurements and perform complex precision set-ups. Must possess math skills and have good reading comprehension ability.
• Interpret certifications, specifications and complex engineering drawings.
• Ability to perform manual layout inspection using sine plates, height gages, CMM and hand tools.
• Must be able to make decisions, communicate effectively and work with others.
• Must be a team player, a self-starter, a problem solver and adaptable.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position.
Perform hardness test for heat treated parts.
Must be able to read blue-prints.
Record inspection data in the Quality System Daily.
Set up dial gages for operators.
Calibration of all company and personal tools for product inspection or testing.
Create rejection notices for non-conforming product.
Additional duties assigned by QE.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Manufacturing of bearings or familiarity with our product lines a plus.
• Experience generating inspection plans, first article inspection reports and recording measurements
• GD&T experience
