Getinge is seeking a Coop to assist the Quality Complaints department. The position will be part of the complaints engineering team and will assist with evaluating and investigating complaint devices as established by the complaint handling process to help understand the device performance in the field.

We are looking for someone who is seeking to develop experience in the medical device industry. Work and collaborate with other multidisciplinary teams to support complaint investigations and product quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities

*Gather and analyze complaint data to identify if the device operates within its approved risk profile.

*Conduct returned complaint device investigations; Perform Design History Reviews / Lot Reviews.

*Conduct risk file analysis and trend data analysis.

*Gathering historical complaints data.

*Special assignments include alignment of Complaint Failure Modes with Risk Files and the calculation of occurrence rates of each individual failure mode.

This position will be a combination of on-site and remote work.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

*Completed the sophomore year in school and has some work experience

*Preferred majors include: Engineering/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Biology/ Physics; GPA 3.0 preferred

* Good computer skills including MS Office. Advanced Excel skills preferred. Statistical systems applications experience preferred (e.g. Excel and Minitab)

* Self-motivated and able to take direction to perform all necessary duties; Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Able to apply advanced scientific principles.

* Good oral and written communication skills to include technical writing preferred.

* Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities accordingly.

* Able to work in a team environment, including cross-functional teams, and exert influence without

alienating others.

Candidates must be available to work 5 days a week for 6hrs. minimum through Friday, December 31, 2021.
