RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions, seeks to hire a Python Debezium CDC Engineer/SME-Subject Matter Expert for a minimum 1-year contract with long-term opportunities in Philadelphia, PA, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX and Palo Alto, CA. As a Python Debezium CDC Engineer, this role will be part of team focused on building a new data platform for the bank and the framework of organization's Spark Python Software PipelinesREQUIREMENTS:
- Data Pipeline Product development experience
- Google Cloud Big Data Specialty is desired
- Hadoop Services Development experience - Hive is desired
- Python experience; Spark Programming is a plus
- Airflow Custom Operator Development experience is desired
- Debezium Open Source CDC expert
- Kafka development experience is a plus
- CI/CD, DevOps, QA Automation experience
- Strong communicator and leader
- Experience in BI/DW and data modeling or Data Warehousing, ETL and BI architectures, concepts and frameworks
- Exposure to Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault approaches for data warehouse modeling and the core differences
- Exposure in data warehouse/data mart/NoSQL modeling principles/methods including conceptual, logical & physical Data Models
- Familiar with metadata ingestion and translation
- Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Familiar with Data Governance Process Management
- Domain Driven Design based Data Product and Data Mesh Architecture concepts to develop highly interoperable data products
- Cyber Security domain knowledge is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
