We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist, Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) to join our team at the Marysville Chemical Plant in Marysville, Ohio! This position will be required to be onsite full time.

The MRO Specialist will design, develop, maintain, administer, and deliver a complete, parts and service program. They will be responsible to coordinate with internal and external managers to identify MRO, plant floor, and storeroom opportunities. The specialist will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical products. They will facilitate and grow relationships at all levels of the organization, including outside vendors.

Typical work may include but is not limited to:

• Purchase equipment, supplies, materials, and services in accordance with purchasing regulations and procedures.
  
• Analyze, review, and maintain purchase requisitions.
  
• Cultivate external sources of supplies, materials, equipment, and services.
  
• Develop bid specifications, issues bid requests, and analyzes quotes .
  
• Communicates successful job bids to vendors and coordinates logistics.
  
• Coordinates purchasing activities with operation and engineering departments.
  
• Arrange payments of invoices or return of merchandise.
  
• Provides timely disposition of non-conforming materials and maintains supplier performance measurements based on quality products, deliveries, and services.
  
• Monitor material usage and communicate with department leaders on availability in order to meet daily production.
  
• Maintain accurate records to ensure deadlines are achieved
  
• Expedites operations to ensure schedules are maintained
  

What you'll need to be successful:

• High School Diploma required
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Demonstrate a high level of understanding of technical products and process knowledge.
  
• Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP, and MFGPro.
  
• Must have effective planning, organizational, decision making skills and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  
• Adaptable in a high change environment and comfortable with ambiguity
