Description: Our client is currently seeking a Propulsion Engineer

Propulsion Engineer:

Qualifications

- Computer Aided Design experience for drafting

- Candidates must possess the following professional experience and qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Maritime Industry

- Test experience in writing test procedures and conducting test events

- Technical writing experience in developing Work Items, Technical Manuals, Training Manuals, and Proposals

- Ship Checks to develop cost estimates in developing Proposals

- Ship Checks to develop Ship Alts and Engineering Changes for propeller system upgrades and repairs

- Technical writing to develop work items, test procedures, technical manuals, training manuals, and technical proposals

- Provide support for R&D projects as well as production requirements

- Work with a Production team to help quickly identify and resolve problems

- Research, develop and apply advanced engineering concepts in the solution of complex manufacturing problems

- Reviews new designs for production ability, considering cost, quality, safety, delivery, production capabilities

- Manage and prioritize multiple project timelines

Ability to optimize, add new features and improve existing control systems

Experience with field upgrades and startups

Experience with mechanical troubleshooting

Ability to travel domestically and internationally
