Location: Newport Beach, CA
Salary: $70.00 USD Hourly - $75.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Project Manager III
Hybrid in Newport Beach, CA
12 month contract

Must Haves:

o Experience managing Long Duration Targeted Improvement (LDTI) or International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS 17) projects. o In-depth knowledge of financial services industry products services, markets, accounting background, and technology across the business value chain. Specifically Actuarial, Accounting, Finance Investment Management and Risk would be a plus Nice To Have

o Demonstrated project management skills, techniques & various methodologies (i.e., Agile, Hybrid, Scrum). Highly skilled in Project Management tools (i.e., SmartSheet, Azure DevOps, Jira) and MS productivity tools (i.e., MS Project, SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Visio)

o Experience managing enterprise transformation, business processes, building governance and frameworks across multiple Divisions/stakeholders particularly Actuarial Modeling Development, Accounting, Finance and Enterprise Risk Management preferred

Qualifications & Requirements:

9+ years progressive experience in project/program management, strategic management and/or management consulting Demonstrated project management skills, techniques & various methodologies (i.e., Agile, Hybrid, Scrum).

Highly skilled in Project Management tools (i.e., SmartSheet, Azure DevOps, Jira) and MS productivity tools (i.e., MS Project, SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Visio)

Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, exhibit poise and exercise diplomacy in communication, ability to influence others toward consensus, conflict management and decision-making.

Strong in critical thinking, data analysis and reporting, risk and controls, and process improvement Must be a self-starter, have demonstrated experience in a lead role, be well organized, effectively managing their time and be a strong leader who can adapt rapidly to new developments and changing priorities.

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant study, or equivalent experience. PMP certifications highly preferred.
