Job Description

The incumbentwill be able to demonstrate an established career as a Construction Project Manager, working in public/government sector programs on public housing and/or public buildings including vertical facilities Construction, large scale rehabilitation and have experience running projects.Must be capable of working with multiple data streams from multiple sources including owner, client, Maximo, e-Builder, Oracle and other sources. Candidate must have experience with Inspection/monitoring of capital projects, good working knowledge of building construction and building mechanical systems, work within occupied buildings.

The candidate will be required to provide Construction Project Management Duties within the framework of Turner and Townsend policy and procedures; providing Client Support, Direction, Guidance, and overall caring for the projects and program process.

Qualifications

-Bachelors of engineering, architecture, or construction management

-5-10 years experience construction project management experienceon projects $20M and above

-Professional License - Not required

-Professional Association - CMAA Preferred - CCM

-Recent public/government sector work experience

-NYC affordable housing experience is required

-Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and scope changes

-Understanding of Owner's Operations and best practices

-Understanding of Safety Programs (Health, Safety, and Emergency Response)

-Understanding the monitoring and Inspection of Construction and Project Coordination

-Completing comprehensive reporting

- Strong leadership qualities

- Self-starter attitude with results oriented focus

- High level written and oral communication skills

- Experience with special reporting requirements to agencies like HUD
