Project Management Specialist

Duration: 10 months with a potential conversion

Work Location: Hazelwood, MO, fully on-site

Need an Active Secret Clearance

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs, and change-driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards.
• Directs and provides high-level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests.
• Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning, and refines the business case.
• Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules.
• Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change, and baseline management, processes, techniques, and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry.
• Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives.
• Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders.
• Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels.

Required:

• 5+ years of program planning and integrated scheduling experience
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Project and building integrated master schedules (IMS)
• Experience building a complex Proposal schedule
• Active Secret Security clearance
• Ability to work onsite 100% (classified work required)

Preferred:

• Experience as a Scheduling team lead managing the efforts of a team of schedulers
• Experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP)
• Experience writing narratives for either a Program Management Volume or IMP/IMS Volume

Education: Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 13 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
