ARI has an outstanding opportunity for a Project Leader II- Application Management

What You'll Do:

Work with business teams to assess business requirements and assist in the evaluation of third party software solutions.

Develop a working knowledge of applications and business processes and be able to identify process improvement initiatives.

Manage system hardware and application software implementations and upgrades for on premise and cloud solutions.

Create, monitor and manage vendor and application SLAs/KPIs. Plan and implement necessary improvements to ensure compliance with SLAs.

Acts as a focal point for communicating across the organization and collaborate with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates.

Proactively manages stakeholder expectations.

Create, manage and execute a plan to keep applications on supported versions.

Supervise the ongoing troubleshooting, monitoring, support, and maintenance of applications.

Develop and maintain an effective on-call rotation for 24/7 support.

Develop the change management procedures and protocols for the department; create and maintain all policies and procedures for all assigned applications.

Monitor and manage team adherence to established policies and procedures.

Lead and manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams.

Create project plans and budgets for the IT application team.

Hire and evaluate the performance of direct reports and provide ongoing coaching and staff development.

Skills Needed:

Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising software implementations.

Experience coaching and developing staff members.

Experience managing multiple projects and teams.

Experience creating and managing project plans and budgets.

Ability to clearly articulate best practice approaches for new requirements, while setting the appropriate rationale and context for that approach.

Ability to collaborate with others to deliver the best possible outcome while balancing key constraints.

Experience managing third party vendors, including developing relationships with third party customer success managers.

Knowledge of system design, implementation and user support principles and practices.

Knowledge of advanced systems analysis methods, practices, and principles.

Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

Working knowledge in design and planning a scalable application architecture.

Strong process improvement and project management skills.

Strong analytic and problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

Familiarity with ITSM is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
